The Law Offices of Thomas G. Slater, P.C. has been operating since October 1, 1996. Mr. Slater has been a practicing attorney for over twenty years.

The firm’s areas of concentration are representation of Social Security disability and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) claimants, as well as juvenile, traffic and criminal law. In addition the practice includes domestic litigation (divorce, custody, adoption), personal injury, collections, simple estates and preparation of wills and advanced health care directives.

Mr. Slater always strives to get the best possible outcome for his clients, whether in a Social Security Disability appeal or in a criminal or traffic court case. In Social Security Disability and SSI cases he advances the cost of medical reports, vocational experts and psychological assessments so that he has the information needed to present the case. These costs are only recovered when the claimant is judged disabled and receives payment.
